The film contains an amateur production about the milkmaids and mowers of the October Revolution collective farm:
1) 00:00:07 - 00:05:23 — Storks roam the fields. Cows graze. Morning dew. Shepherds. Cattle in the pen. Cows are milked using machines. Milkmaids are seen cleaning equipment and working in the dairy. Halyna Kozel and milkmaids are working. Portrait shots highlight the faces of the workers. Shepherds tend the herd in the field. A tanker truck driver is shown at work. Portrait shots highlight the faces of the workers. Milkmaids ride in the back of a truck. Geese and storks appear again in fields. Musical accompaniment: The songs Merry Shepherd (Веселый пастух) and In the Garden Walking (В саду гуляла) are played.
2) 00:05:24 - 00:11:02 — Scenes of mowers at work. A man sharpens a scythe. Mowing continues in the field, interspersed with moments of rest. Mykola Ivanovych Hrytsai is featured. A horse-drawn cart delivers barrels of drinking water. Workers use rakes to gather hay and load it onto a truck. A Kolos combine harvester. Workers ride in the back of a GAZ-51 truck and on a cart.
