Description
The film presents an amateur documentary report on the gathering of district collective farm leaders at the Voroshylov Collective Farm, and on the celebration of Agricultural Worker's Day in the village of Pokoshychi:

1) 00:00:15 - 00:03:50 — Cars travel along a rural road. Portraits are displayed on the collective farm's honor board. District leaders observe the mechanized potato harvesting unit led by Oleksandr Vovk, studying its methods. About a dozen vehicles — including GAZ-24s and mostly GAZ-69As — drive along the field road. Visitors watch a potato harvester in action. Women harvest potatoes by hand and place them into a sack held by the head of the collective farm. Inspection of the size and quality of the harvest. Featured are the head of the Voroshylov Collective Farm, Petro Yukhymovych Solovey, and the head of the district agricultural department. Workers from the collective farm are also present. The visitors then depart.

2) 00:03:51 - 00:05:29 — A formal gathering at the tractor station celebrates the winner of the socialist competition — mechanic Oleksandr Vovk. He is presented with a loaf of bread and a bouquet of flowers. Vovk slices the bread and shares it with fellow workers and honored guests from the district. A tractor leaves for the field.

3) 00:05:30 - 00:11:54 — Agricultural Worker’s Day celebration. Leaders and workers from the district's collective farms march in a column through Lenin Square, carrying flags and banners. Speeches are delivered from the rostrum. Flowers are laid at the Lenin monument. The flag is raised by collective farm chairman Palchukovsky and harvester Karatsiuba. The national anthem of the USSR plays. Winners of the socialist competition take seats on the rostrum. A general view of the audience is shown. Awards and gifts are presented, along with a ceremonial loaf. The folk song Good Evening to You, Mr. Master (Добрий вечір тобі, пане Господарю) plays in the background. A harvester from the Chapaev Collective Farm performs a ceremonial lap in the combine. Women sing traditional songs. The celebration concludes as participants begin to disperse.

4) 00:11:55 - 00:11:54 — The meeting room of the district party committee. The head of the Chernihiv District Executive Committee, Ilonenko, presents the Transitional Red Banner to honor the district's achievements in grain production in 1973, along with the flag of the Oblast Party Committee for excellence in flax production. Speeches are given by the presidium. Government awards are presented.
