Interview with a woman born in Lviv. In 1978, after school, she went to work on the assembly line in the 8th workshop (experimental machinery) at the Electron. The woman's parents worked at the Forklift Truck Plant: her mother at Main Specialized Design Bureau, and her father at the machine shop foreman. The woman told about the work on the assembly line, saying that there was a purely female team. The work was monotonous, but she liked it because it worked fast. She emphasized that the work helped her to become more organized and disciplined. She complained that during the first months of her work she had her fingers festered, then she healed. In 1981, when she entered the College of Radio Electronics, as an extramural student, the woman went to work in the technical bureau of the 8th workshop. She was dealing with technical documentation. She worked there by 1995. She resigned due to the uncertain situation at the plant. The woman said that the team was very friendly, they still maintain relations with each other.
The recording was made at Naukova Street, in Lviv. Interviewer – Myroslava Lyakhovych - Collection:
