nterview with a man born in Lviv region. In 1972, he entered the Polytechnic, to the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. In 1977, after training, he was sent to the "Sirka" Plant. A year later, the man was transferred to the Forklift Plant, to work as a design engineer in the truck body design bureau. Since 1986, he has been a chief designer at the production facility. The man talked about planning and "crunch culture". He also spoke about his managerial position and the specifics of working with people. He talked about women's work, where he mentioned that most women worked as copyists and painters. First, he lived in a factory’s dormitory, later – in a cooperative apartment from the factory.
