Between June 5th and October 16th 1894, the General County Exhibition was held in Lviv in Stryisky Park, giving powerful impetus to the rapid development of industry and trade in Galicia. Over the course of five months 1,147,329 people visited the exhibition. 130 pavilions were designed, built, and furnished by the best architects and craftsmen in Lviv. One of the important sections of the exhibition, which displayed in the Industrial Pavillion, was group No. X: flour products. Cookies, starch, and pasta. Vodka products and yeast. Brewery products. Sugar production. Liqueurs, vinegar, mustard. Vegetable oils. Here 72 manufacturers, 16 of which were from Lviv, exhibited their products. Of course, the exhibition of Jozef Adam Bachevsky's company, one of the oldest Lviv industrial enterprises (est. 1782), occupied a prominent place at the event. The Bachevsky company produced spirits, vodka, liqueurs, rum, and was an undisputed monopolist in its industry, producing 500,000 bottles annually.
