This rare photo shows three streets in downtown Chernivtsi: the street where the postmen empty the letter box is Stefaniegasse (Str. Eminescu, vul. Gorkogo), the street coming in behind the Bierhaus (Beer house, pub) is the Spieragasse (Str. Spiera, vul. Novikova) and from the right Dreifaltigkeitsgasse (Str. Sfanta Treimi, vul. Chmelnytskogo). The Bierhaus is selling beer from the Polish town of Okocim, then in the neighbouring Kronland (Province) of Galizien. Helmut Kusdat
