Description: This early photo shows the western side of the Ringplatz (Piata Unirii, Central Square) and the view into Liliengasse (Strada Brancoveanu, Ivan Franko Street) with the Town Hall on the left side. The building to the right was the Hotel zum Schwarzen Adler (Hotel under the Black Eagle) the best hotel in town during the times of the Austrian rule. The procession shown on the photo is most likely a Catholic Easter Procession.<br /><em>Helmut Kusdat</em>
