The photo shows an episode of the march around the Strilnytsia, which was located on Kurkova Street, 23a (now Lysenko Street). In the right corner, a member of the "Chvartakov" orchestra plays the trumpet. In front of the march is the flag of the Strilnytsia Society, according to Austrian military tradition, decorated with flowers at the top. Apparently, the photo shows part of the ceremony of electing the "Kurkovy King" (the honorary leader of the Strilnytsia Society), an obligatory element of which was a procession around the Strilnytsia building to the sounds of the "Chvartakov" orchestra.
