"It’s a picture of my grandmother Valentina Adamivna Aleksandrovich (on the right). At home she was called Lyalya. After finishing shorthand writing courses in Moscow she returned to Mariupol in Donetsk region. After that she went on a vacation to Crimea with her friend Tosya (Antonina) Ivanova.

In this picture she’s wearing a dress she bought in Moscow. She brought back a few items of clothing which were in use for many years”.
