The Volodymyrska hill and the
monument to St. Volodymyr. The celebration of the 900th anniversary
of the baptism of Rus (1888) must have been recorded. A lot of
aristocratic ladies with umbrellas and other public, wearing their
best clothes, can be seen in the photo. Below, along Oleksandrivsky
Uzviz street, there is a line of the military in full uniform; all
this, most probably, indicates that the Emperor’s procession is
