- Date: 1915-1916
The photo shows the Agricultural Pavilion of the Military Exhibition of the 2nd Army. The pavilion was designed by Istvan Medyas, octagonal in plan (about 15 m in diameter), like a village house with a stork's nest on the roof. It was commissioned by Colonel Csíky. It exhibited works by Russian prisoners of war from the exhibition collected by Dr. Ignaz Kunos with the permission of the Commander-in-Chief of the Army for the Oriental Museum. After the exhibition was moved to Budapest in 1918, this pavilion was named Tatarsky.
