View of the destroyed Tower No. 4 at the Citadel after the November battles in Lviv in 1918. During the Ukrainian-Polish War, as a result of the battles for the Citadel, the entire facade of the tower on the side of Pelchynska Street (now Dmytro Vitovsky Street) was destroyed. The destruction of the roof is particularly noticeable in the photo. The tower was soon repaired, and a military dovecote was installed.
