The film contains an amateur report on the celebration of the 1000th anniversary of the Baptism of Rus:

1) 00:00:10 - 00:00:51 — Kyiv. St. Sophia Cathedral. Quotes from the Tale of Bygone Years. The monument to Volodymyr the Great, and a fragment of a painting from St. Volodymyr's Cathedral depicting Prince Volodymyr’s baptism. A voice-over in Church Slavonic narrates the baptism of Volodymyr.

2) 00:00:52 - 00:07:04 — The village of Korop: Women with flowers arrive at the Ascension Church for a service. Shots of the church dome cross and interior during Dean Mykola Putri’s service. Believers near icons and candles. The village of Rayhorodok: Ruins of the Transfiguration Church. A sermon on the anniversary of the Baptism of Rus as “a holiday of Russian statehood, a triumph of Orthodoxy” plays in voiceover, alongside a reading of Gavrilo Derzhavin’s poem To the Rulers and Judges (Властителям и судиям). Religious procession. Believers circling the church.

3) 00:07:05 - 00:13:02 — Funeral procession of clergy and villagers honoring those who died for the homeland. A choir performs Father’s Heart (Батькове серце) by Dmytro Hnatiuk. Wreaths are laid at a mass grave. General and portrait shots of attendees. Nadiia records Mykola Putri singing a prayer for all the deceased, including fallen Orthodox leaders, soldiers, and those who died in Afghanistan. Women lay flowers at graves. Villagers walk to the district executive committee building.

4) 00:13:03 - 00:15:53 — Meeting of district clergy with executive committee officials. Archpriest Mykola Zinoviovych Putri speaks. Voice-over discusses freedom of conscience, perestroika, glasnost, and democratization as factors enabling the church’s role in Soviet society: “The state highly appreciates the fact that in their sermons and speeches, priests support the peaceful policy of our country, its course to end the arms race and eliminate nuclear weapons.” The dean is awarded a diploma “for active peacekeeping and patriotic education.” Rubanik offers mineral water and grapes to guests. Group photo with officials and priests near the executive committee building.

5) 00:15:54 - 00:17:57 — Village street scenes: shops, Lenin monument, passersby. Reconstruction of the Assumption Church and a cinema operating in the former Theodosius Church building. Scenic views of the riverbank. A wedding celebration. Ruins of the Transfiguration Church. The hymn Evening Bell (Вечерний звон) with lyrics by Ivan Kozlov plays.

The film's soundtrack consists of a voice-over narration by Archpriest Mykola Putri, L. Petrenko, and church hymns.

The second audio track is an unsynchronized editing cue sheet for the film and contains a frame-by-frame description of persons, objects, actions, and editing plans. Dmytro Kozel mentions the names of the people involved in the footage.
