Interview with a woman born in Lviv. She told about her childhood at Selianska street, described the area in detail. Her father and mother worked at the Progres factory. The father worked in the experimental shop, he made shoes for samples; and the mother was a shoemaker in the main shop. The woman's sister also worked at the Progres, in a chemical processing shop. The narrator said that she went to the kindergarten from the factory, which was across the street; she would come to her mother's and father's in the shops, and watched them work. From 1978, the woman went to work to the Progres factory as a technician in the return department; later, she moved to the quality assurance department. The woman spoke about the shoes taken from the factory by senior party officials, and described the cooperation with India. In general, she described the specifics of production and the territory of the factory in its heyday. She told about the Vzuttevyk (lit. – Shoemaker) newspaper, which was published at the factory. The woman was granted a four-room apartment in Sykhiv from her work. Now, she works as a production manager at the Progress.
