Interview with a woman born in Lviv. The woman is a biologist by profession, worked in the botanical garden, later, in the technical school of the Academy of Printing. Her father was a shoemaker. The conversation was mostly about her father. He began his career in 1925/26 in Berezhany. He comes from Narayiv, Berezhany district. He learned the craft from a Jewish shoemaker in Berezhany. After that, in 1925-1926, he moved to Lviv. The woman said that her father had his own studio and apartment on Staroyevreyska (Boyimiv) Str., 4. After the arrival of Soviet power, in 1944, the man went to work at the clothing factory No.1, later renamed to the Mayak (lit. – Lighthouse). He worked there as the head of the department of individual tailoring. He later went to teach at the College of Light Industry at the factory (in 1947). During the conversation, the woman showed many photos from the VET school that showed students, teachers, and trips.
