Interview with a man born in Lviv. From 1975, he worked at the Lvivprylad plant. The man recalles his childhood at Hazova street. Then, the family moved to Pokhyla street. He also describes this street and the surrounding area. He emphasized that the Lvivprylad plant was close by. The man still lives there. He came to the factory as a parts washer, then a few months later, he started working as a mechanic for mechanical and assembly works. Then, he transferred to the foreman, later, after graduating from the Polytechnic, he worked as an engineer. He mentioned the phenomenon of "crunch culture" at the plant. He said that relations with colleagues were good but he felt the difference in mentalities between locals and the out-of-town people. He emphasized the hazards of his work, as he constantly worked on cutting parts. He described how he suffered an eye injury due to his own negligence.
