"It’s a picture of my mother Svitlana Broda and her friend Serhii Zanochkyn standing on the stairs of the summer movie theater in Druzhba park. At that time, Zanochkyn was going to join the army, and Broda was studying in the graduating class of the local school № 11. After returning from the army, Serhii worked at the Lozova Forging and Mechanical Plant, where Svitlana worked there after graduating from a vocational school. The most popular outerwear back then was a plaid coat, which girls jokingly called a "blanket". A knitted sweater with a high neck and a mink hat (Svetlana wears it on in the photo), as well as sneakers, were also considered chic in men's fashion. The girl is wearing red leather boots with heels and a dark brown short skirt with a barely noticeable stripe sewn by grandma Shura. At first, the skirt was eight centimeters longer, but Svitlana shortened it."
