Description
The film contains an amateur film report on the celebrations of the Day of the Milkmaid:

Vasyl gives a welcoming speech. Portrait shots of the participants: Nina Syniavska, Halyna Kozel. An amateur choir performs. Loaves are presented to the workers. Schoolgirls in folk costumes sing. Flowers are handed out. The song Good evening to you, Mr. Master (Добрий вечір тобі, пане Господарю) plays. Schoolgirls dance to the accordion. Portraits of the collective farm's leadership: Hrytsko, Vyazanko, Mykola Ivanovych Hrytsai. The song Quiet Water (Тиха вода) plays. A girl recites a poem. Children perform. The song I Live at My Grandmother’s (Я у бабушки живу) by VIA Verasy plays. Zgoda and Chaika perform. Then the song Pies with Cottage Cheese (Із сиром пироги). Portraits of the audience. The accordionist. Guests are treated to sparkling wine. The songs I Am a Good Hostess (Господиня гарна я) and Sell, My Dear, Gray Bullheads (Продай, милий, сиві бички) are played. Varka gives a speech. The song A Song for Good (Пісня на добро).

The soundtrack consists of a poetic voice-over commentary and musical compositions.

The second audio track serves as an editing cue sheet for the film and contains a frame-by-frame description of persons, objects, actions, and editing plans. Dmytro Kozel mentions the people involved in the footage.
