Description
The film contains an amateur film about harvesting and rewarding the harvesters of the October Revolution collective farm:

1) 00:00:04 - 00:04:04 — Sunflowers, poppies, and ears of rye. Women in embroidered shirts weave wreaths of daisies and sing to the accompaniment of an accordionist. A Niva combine harvester at work in the field. Trucks with grain. Halyna and Sorokin at a campaign station by the stream. Halyna weighs the grain brought by driver Koshelenko on a transport scale. Drivers of GAZ-53 trucks weigh their loads. Ivan Kharitonovych Holoveshko in the collective farm yard. Grain truck drivers Vasyl and Ilya. Niva combine harvesters in the field. The head of the collective farm, Ivan Andriyovych Zhyhor, checks ears of grain. A woman in the field kitchen, in the back of a truck, serves lunch to the combine harvesters. A choir sings nearby.

2) 00:04:05 - 00:06:28 — Awarding of the combine harvesters, including the Petrenko family. A girl presents a loaf of bread. Congratulations to the harvesters from: the party committee secretary Valentyna Yukhymivna Zgoda, the district trade union chairman Oleksii Yukhymovych Karatsiuba, the head of the mechanization section Mykola Ivanovych Hrytsai, and the head of the collective farm Ivan Andriyovych Zhyhor. Farmers near the Kolos combine: Luhovyi hands over the transitional flag to Polyvian. A loaf is handed over in gratitude.

3) 00:06:29 - 00:08:58 — A choir sings near the combine harvesters during a break. Mykola Hrytsai is with them, sitting on the grass under the trees. A speech by Zhuk. A combine harvester with a flag for the best mechanic. Ivan Andriyovych Zhyhor in the field. Niva combine harvester. Trucks with grain. Combine harvesters in the field.

The voice-over poetic narration by Halyna (Kozel) Antonenko is combined with folk songs in the film's sound design.

The second audio track serves as an editing cue sheet for the film and contains a frame-by-frame description of persons, objects, actions, and editing plans. Dmytro Kozel names the people involved and imitates the sounds of machinery.
