
Monument to Yurii Drohobych (Kotermak)

The image represent shows the central part of the city, made from an observation deck on the roof of a building on the corner of Halytska and Valova streets. Around is the dense development of the city center. On the right is the slender building of the town hall, the tower of which rises 65 m. The town hall was built in the style of Viennese classicism in 1830-1835. During the "Spring of Nations"
In 1848, as a result of artillery shelling of the city, the tower of the new town hall burned down, it was rebuilt by 1851 and received a new domed finish, a new clock was also installed. In the center of the image are the domes of the towers of the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord at 21 Krakivska Street. On the left is a fragment of the roof of the Latin Cathedral.
