The image shows the central part of the city, made from an observation deck on the roof of a building on the corner of Halytska and Valova streets. All around is the dense development of the city center - a centuries-old layering of architectural styles and ideas of creators. Each building is a separate and unique image. In the center of the image is a pearl of Lviv's Renaissance architecture, the ensemble of the Bernardine Monastery with the Church of St. Andrew (now the Church of St. Andrew the Apostle). The high pediment of the richly decorated facade in the style of Dutch Mannerism was built by the Wrocław builder and sculptor Andreas Boehmer. He was also the author of the octagonal bell tower, which rises in the northeastern corner of the apse. On the right, at the corner of Pekarska Street and Soborna Square, rises the five-story building of the former "Krakow" hotel (now the Regional Court is located here).
