The town hall in the center of the market square was an integral part of Galician towns that received the privilege of Magdeburg law. In 1566, King Sigismund II Augustus granted the town a privilege. Since then, Dobromyl, the estate of the Herburt family, has been developing rapidly. The town had brick fortifications, the high castle on Slipia Hora was rebuilt, the defensive functions were performed by a low castle-palace and a defensive Basilian monastery. In the second half of the 16th century, the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord (originally the Holy Trinity) and the main administrative building of the town - the town hall - were built at the expense of the Herburt family. It received its current appearance in the 16th century. It is a two-story, rectangular structure, a tower with a clock is built into the volume of the building, the facade of the town hall is richly decorated.
