St. Anne's Street (Horodotska) has been known since 1578, it ran from Krakivska Square to St. Anne's Church. In 1871, it was named after Kings Casimir the Great and Casimir Jagiellon - Kazimierzska. This street housed well-known and popular (each in its own way) objects: the men's prison "Brigidka" (on the right side of the image), the Augustinian Church of St. Anne (founded in 1505). In 1964, St. Anne's Street, together with three others, became part of 1 Travnia Street, which in 1990 was renamed Horodotska Street - the longest street in Lviv.
