Description: The photo shows construction works going on in Goethegasse (Str. Goethe, vul. Gete). According to city maps of the time, no houses stood on the right side of the street before the First World War. However, some old cellars seem to have been found when new buildings were erected there in the time beween the wars. <br />In the background the back of the City Theatre building can be seen. <br /><em>Helmut Kusdat</em>
