Description

Border-marking stone at the summit of the Hoverla mountain. One face of the stone bore the inscription "1920" marking Transcarpathia's accession to Czechoslovakia; the other face bears the inscription "1923" to mark the decision of the Triple Entente Ambassador Council's to give Galicia to Poland. The photograph shows graduates of the Lwow Academic Gymnasium on a tour of Galicia in the summer of 1930.
