Brigidki — a men's prison that has existed for over two hundred years under all regimes, located in a building converted from the ancient monastery of St. Brigid, which was closed in 1784 (24 Horodotska Street). The monastery was built in 1614 on the initiative and at the expense of Anna Fastkowska and Anna Poradowska. It housed a boarding school for girls from noble families. In the courtyard, there is a chapel dedicated to St. Peter the Apostle with a Baroque altar. The church building still exists today, albeit in a slightly modified form.
