Description: The film contains footage of the 1st USSR Powered Hang Gliding Championship, held in September 1988 in Karagoz (now Pervomaiske).

The footage shows motorised hang gliders and their aircraft preparing for take-off and flight, as well as spectators, organisers and medical staff at the championship. Panorama of the valley at the foot of Mount Agarmish. 'I went to this rally as a "correspondent", or as they said back then, a "sympathiser", but later we had a "garage" company of four people with whom we built such aircraft ourselves. But I myself did not fly on homemade ones - too much responsibility - such a height.' Comment by Mykhailo Banakh.
