The hunting lodge or forestry pavilion (No. 64) was built to house the sixth group of exhibits belonging to the fifth section, headed by Count Roman Potocki. The wooden pavilion with an area of 590 square meters was built according to the design of architect Michal Lużecki in the southwestern part of the upper terrace of Stryi Park, where the General Regional Exhibition of 1894 was located.
Here, samples of the fauna of the Galician forests and hunting grounds were exhibited in the form of stuffed birds, animals, and fish, made for the exhibition by the best specialists - taxidermists. Samples of hunting weapons and equipment were also exhibited. For example, the products of one of the best manufacturers, Alfred Dzikowski, whose company, employing 12 craftsmen, had existed in Lviv since 1878, occupied a worthy place in the exhibition. Dzikowski's hunting weapons were repeatedly awarded medals and diplomas at Austro-Hungarian exhibitions.
